This is from an article called "How To Build My 50 Dollar Greenhouse." However, to do it for that price you would have to "recycle, freecycle, and scrounge" a lot. If you bought everything new it would probably cost over $200 which still seems pretty good to me.
David La Ferney has done a great job with pictures and descriptions such that I feel like I (or most any third grader) could do this. The dimensions are 11 feet wide by 15 feet long and 7 and 1/2 feet tall in the center. The greenhouse allows an early start and extension of the growing season. And if you wonder if this greenhouse really works well, he talks about what was going on in the greenhouse 6 months later here.
He was able to have fresh salads all winter and early broccoli and tomatoes. Amazingly, when it was 5 degrees outside it was 50 degrees inside the greenhouse.
This is a way to extend the productivity of your garden throughout the year.
